The Center for Bone Health focuses on bone mineral density testing by central DXA technology. We employ the latest densitometry technology from Hologic, including a densitometer and integrated imaging software. By remaining at the forefront of medical science and maintaining state-of-the-art technology we have earned the respect of area physicians and become a referral center for the region. James D. Hendrick, MD is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a Certified Clinical Densitometrist and serves as Medical Director of the Center for Bone Health in Fort Collins, CO. He has spent more than 10 years interpreting bone density (DXA) studies, predicting fracture risk and also preventing and treating osteoporosis in patients. Dr. Hendrick provides DXA interpretation and fracture risk assessment in accordance with guidelines from the International Society of Clinical Densitometry, the National Osteoporosis Foundation and the World Health Organization. He strives to provide bone density interpretations that are accurate, complete and also clinically useful to the treating physician. |
